The AirStation wireless LAN card consists of both LAN functions and radio functions. This card is necessary for the wireless communication between the AirStation, access point, and the client. The client card is for either notebook PCs or desktop PCs.

AirStation supports the IEEE802.11b standard and it sustains 11Mbps data transmission rate. There is a selection of 11 channels, that reduce the network transmission load. It also supports the peer-to-peer communication without the AirStation, access point, (Ad-Hoc mode).
